Days / 3 Nights

FIRST
DAY.-
we are going to pick you up from your hotel between 6:00 and 6:30 am
in our private transportation. The bus will take us to the 82 km mark
(93019 feet’s above sea level) that is the estart of the trail.
There we will have time to put in order our backpacks and receive all
the details of the Inka trail
You will walk for about two hours until you get to the first
archeological complex ( Pata Llacta) where our tour guide will provide
you with a complete explanation. After lunch, you will have time to
take a rest and then we will continue for about three hours more to
the campsite (Huayllabanba or Uncachimpa ) which are located at about
3000 to 3200 meters above sea level. There you will receive a hot
drink and dinner.
SECOND DAY .-
after the hot wake up call drink, you will have enough time to
pack your backpacks and eat breakfast. This is the most difficult day
and it will be important to walk at your own pace. You will walk up
through the Huayruro Valley for about three or four hours to get to
the (Huarmihuñuska or the Dead Woman’s Pass) which is 4200 meters
above sea level. At the top. As you hike you will enjoy the view of
the surrounding snowcapped mountains. . From the top it will take one
more hour and half to descend into the Pacaymayu Valley. desending to
3600 m.a.s.l geting lunch and camp site in the same valley of course
with the coordination of the tour guide. Dinner
THIRD DAY .-
Morning ritual again includes a wake up call with a nice hot drink. pack
up all our stuff having breakfast we will receive the explanation of the
tour guide about the programation of this day then we will keep climbing
up, but not us the second day because from 3600 m.a.s.l we will get to
3980 m.a.s.l. in between we will visit RUNCURACCAY a very nice
arqueological site located in 3800 m.a.s. then we continue to s the
second high pass, from this point you can see another range of mountains
(VILCABAMBA) with the highest pick the( PUMASILLU or PUMAS CLOW) all the
mountains that you see belongs to the oriental range of mountains in the
southern Andes.
After enjoying the panorama wet go down for one two until we arrive to
the third arqueological complex (SAYACMARCA).You will have the
explanation of our guide,then you will keep going for another half hour
until arriving to(CHAQUICOCHA or DRY LAGOON) for lunch with toilet
facilities having lunch you take a nap and we keep going graduated up,not
hard toget to the third pass ( PHUYUPATAMARKA)or VILLAGE ABOVE THE
CLOUDS)after this complex we are again in the sacred valley. We will
need two hours more to get to our third camping site WIÑAY WAYNA (FOR
EVER YOUNG) with the archeological complex of the same name and
decanding to 2750 m.a.s.l. Hot drink, dinner.
FOURTH
DAY.- This
day is the most important day because we will get to the place of our
dreams for that we will wake up at 4:30am.and leave the camping site at
5:30 after breakfast . We will walk for one hour and a half gradual up
to get to the ( INTI PUNKU or SUN GATE) 3000 m.a.s.l. We will enjoy the
sun rices into MACHUPICCHU and after we will go down for half hour more
to get in the archeological complex. before we go for the guided tour we
will register and be ready, the tour is going to be aprox. 2 hours with
the same guide of the Inka trail, after the tour you will have about 5
hours for spending by our self so you will have the diferent choices to
visit optionally the WAYNA PICCHU mountain or (young mountain)
(THE MOON TEMPLE) or the (INKA BRIDGE).
We go down to Aguas Calientes town where the train station and the hot
springs are. By the afternoon we take the train back to Cusco in the
back packer class.
