This
tour is in reality a Pilgrimage through the Missions, giving the
participants the opportunity of seeing the Ruins, walking in the interior
of the countryside of Rio Grande do Sul state, facing a challenging and
having a life-time experience.
Arrival
in the morning to São
Miguel das Missões. Afternoon tour of the Museum of the Missions and to
the Archeological Site of São Miguel Arcanjo, accompanied by a local guide.
During sunset time, there is a show of Sounds and Light, giving
the pilgrims the opportunity of getting acquainted with the History of the
Missions. Dinner and accommodation in Pousada.

2 -
São
Miguel das Missões / Carajazinho
After
breakfast, start of the 34 km journey to Carajazinho, stopping for lunch in
the community centre of Esquina Ezequiel. Arrival to Carajazinho and dinner
and accommodation in a local family hostel.

3 - Carajazinho
/ Entre-Ijuis
After
breakfast, walk until the Archeological Site of São João Batista. Lunch in a
typical bar of the interior. Accommodation in a Park with swimming pool, lakes,
green areas and sport courts available for the pilgrims.

Day
4 - Entre-Ijuis
/ Santo Angelo
After
breakfast, continue the walk until the river Ijui, crossing it on a Ferry-boat.
Arrival to Santo Angelo's Cathedral around 11:30 in the morning, ending the 78
km journey. Farewell lunch with the group.

to operational, safety or weather condition.

It's the responsability of the passanger to arrive in time in São Miguel das
Missões on the first day, to be able to do the tour of the Ruins of São
Miguel das Missões.

Kit Pilgrim: a typical walking stick, a charm Missions' Cross, a Pilgrim's
card that needs to be stamped on three of the places of passage to
give the holder the right to a Certification of Completion of the Caminho das
Missões Walk.

An experienced pilgrim that accompanies the group (not as a leader).

Accommodation:
In
Simple adapted hostels, sharing a room with other participants.
Payment:
Deposit
of 30% to guarantee your reservation. The remaining amount must be paid a
minimum 30 days before start of the tour. If reservation is made within 30
days of the tour full payment required to make a reservation.
Cancellation:
Up
to 30 days before full refund is given unless the flight tickets have been
emitted. In this case there will be a penalty due to the cancellation of
the tickets. This depends on the rules of the airline used.No refund is given when a cancellation is made within 30 days of
departure.

Brasil Travel / Melchior & Hodson Ltda and/or agencies involved with
the packages, flights and tours shall act only as agents of the tour
members in making arrangements for hotels and any other services and do
not assume any liability what so ever for any injury, damage, death, loss,
accident or delay to persons or property due to an act of God, default by
any hotel, company or person rendering any of services included on the
tours or flights. Furthermore, no responsability is accepted for
quarentine, government restrains, weather or other causes beyond control.
